2022, December 11, Yerevan, Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex, "Junior Eurovision - 2022" final stage. 

Armenia has won the right to hold the final stage of the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Yerevan, RA capital. Here is an important reason to spend the New Year and post-New Year holidays in Armenia (Armenians traditionally celebrate the New Year holidays until January 13, the beginning of the New Year, according to the Old Armenian calendar.

Delegations from 16 countries will come to Armenia to participate in the "Junior Eurovision 2022" international song contest, for which various events will be organized.

Armenia has been one of the successful countries in the history of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest: Armenia has participated for 14 times and always won a place in top ten. In the "Junior Eurovision 2021", held on December 19 in 2021 in Paris, 14-year-old Malena, representing Armenia, won the first place.

This year Armenia hosts the 20th anniversary Junior Eurovision Contest, which is very binding. Starting from December 4, various Eurovision events will take part in Yerevan both for tourists and the delegations. All the contestants and guests spending their winter holidays in Armenia will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the culture of our country. They will take part in winter tours, visit museums, other cultural institutions and places of interest.

This year's symbol of the competition is an internationally recognized toy, the spinner, which is specific to Armenian culture, and it is decorated with national signs. Emphasizing this endless circle that brings joy and fun to children: the slogan "Spin the Magic" has been chosen for the contest.  All the Eurovision 2022 delegations and guests, spending their winter holidays and New Year in Armenia, can see the same signs of the spinning top on our historical-architectural monuments, carpets and clothes. A neon look has been given to the traditional wooden toys that reflects modern Armenia.

Malena, the winner of “Junior Eurovision–2021” Song Contest will also perform in the final stage of the contest and present her new song.

All the winners of “Junior Eurovision” Song Contest of all years have been invited to Armenia and they will perform their winning songs.

14-year-old Nare Ghazaryan will represent Armenia at the competition. Her producer is Grigor Kyokchyan and choreographer is Hovhannes Sargsyan.

The Eurovision song has already been selected, the author of which is Grigor Kyokchyan, and the author of the instrumentation is Nik Egibyan. You can see the video premier here.
