Tavush region borders on two countries at the same time: Georgia and Azerbaijan. Tavush region occupies 2704 sq. Km. area: 51% of the total area is occupied by forests, which are distinguished by the diversity of flora and fauna, incomparable natural heritage monuments. The indescribable nature of the region due to the favorable climatic conditions has served the Armenian royal family as a resting hunting ground.
