The first stop is the magnificent Garni Temple. The Garni Temple is closely connected to the line of Armenian kings, from King Argishti II to King Trdat I, who is traditionally credited with its reconstruction. This magnificent structure once included ancient baths, royal chambers, and beautifully crafted mosaics. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, Garni stands as one of Armenia’s most iconic and unforgettable landmarks. As the only surviving Pagan temple in the post-Soviet region, it rises proudly above the Azat River Gorge and once served as a summer residence for Armenian kings. Even today, its ruins—and the remarkable Roman bathhouse—continue to fascinate every visitor.
Followed by the stunning Geghard Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is partly carved deep into the cliffs, blending seamlessly with the surrounding mountains. Founded in the 4th century and expanded in later centuries, this sacred complex is believed to have been founded at the site where the spear that wounded Jesus was kept, adding to its spiritual significance. The monastery is home to stunning 11th-century khachkars, intricately carved stone chambers, and serene cave churches. Visitors can also experience the crisp, cold spring water that flows from a cave within the monastery, enhancing the mystical and refreshing atmosphere of this historic site.
The tour leads you to the impressive UNESCO-listed natural wonder, The Symphony of Stones or Azat Gorge, along the Azat River in Armenia is a stunning natural wonder, formed over millennia by volcanic activity and erosion. Perfectly shaped basalt columns rise dramatically from the riverbanks, creating a harmonious symphony sculpted by the forces of nature.
Sevan is one of the three “great seas” of Great Armenia, along with Lake Van and Lake Urmia, which are now in Turkey and Iran respectively. Only Sevan from these three lakes remained in the territory of Armenia, so it is very important for Armenia and is one of the most visited touristic sites of the country.
Lake Sevan is home to Sevanavank monastery, located on the peninsula. There are two churches on the peninsula of Sevan. These two churches were built in 874 AD and together form the Sevanavank Monastery. The architecture of both churches is almost the same. According to historian Stepanos Orbelyan the church was built by Armenian princess Mariam, daughter of the founder of Bagratuni dynasty Ashot I. And grew under the spiritual guidance of Catholicos Mashtots. The king of Armenia Ashot Yerkat used to live in the monastery for a while. Near the walls of the monastery, he gave battle to Arab soldiers who came to the shore of Sevan. The monks of Sevanavank also participated in the battle.

Ararat temple, also known as the Charents’ Arch, is one of Armenia’s most famous landmarks, built in 1957 by architect Rafayel Israelyan. From this viewpoint, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Mount Ararat and Ararat Valley, making it a perfect spot for photography and reflection on Armenia’s cultural and natural beauty.

Geghard Monastery is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The name Geghard means “lance,” referring to the lance with which the Roman centurion pierced Jesus after the crucifixion. Later, the lance was brought to Armenia by the apostles and kept in Geghard Monastery for 8 to 13 centuries. Geghard is one of the most beautiful monasteries in Armenia, and during the 11th–15th centuries, it served as an educational center. The most astonishing feature of this complex is its architectural design: churches carved into solid rock, built according to the principles of Armenian architecture.

Garni Temple is the only standing heathen temple in the whole post-Soviet area. The temple gracefully stands on a high plateau overlooking the Azat River gorge. The surrounding area itself is incredibly beautiful. The Greek-Roman bathhouse with the mosaic, made out of natural stones, as well as the ruins of the royal palace, will take you to the 3rd century A.D.

Not far from the temple of Garni (about 10minutes’ walk), there is a cozy local restaurant with an amazing view of the temple, where you can relax and take part in a master-class of tasting freshly baked lavash – traditional Armenian flatbread. Here you will also enjoy a traditional Armenian lunch.

Purchase, Changing & Cancellation policy
You can buy this service in full or book it by paying 30% of the total amount. In case of booking, you will pay the rest of the cost of your service online before providing the service or in cash / non-cash at the organization's office.
In case of changing the date of service, no fee will be charged if you inform the organization at least 24 hours before the service is provided, and in case of later notification on change - 10% of the total cost will be charged. It is possible to change the direction or type of service only at least 24 hours before the service is to be provided. In this case, the final calculation is made, the corresponding changes are made, if possible.
In the case of extreme weather conditions or force majeure, the entity has the right to change, reduce or cancel the approved purchase. In case of cancellation by the organization, you are offered another equivalent service.
Without any penalty purchase cancellation is available at least 24 hours in advance. After that, the whole value of the service is non-refundable in case of purchase, cancellation, as well as without the consent of the service provider. Payment methods
- Bank transfer is the transfer of an corresponding amount to the bank account of the organization. You can pay in drams, rubles, dollars and euros.
- Online payment is the payment made through the official website of the organization. At the moment it is possible to make a payment with Visa / Master cards of any exchange rate.
- Card payment is the payment via Visa / Master card through the POS terminal in the organization's office. The amount of the excursions/service is presented in Armenian drams, but you can pay with any exchange rate card (your bank changes the exchange rate of the corresponding amount). The organization does NOT CHARGE extra amount during card payment.
- Cash payment is the payment at the office of the organization by cash. Payments are accepted only in Armenian drams. There is a bank and ATM next to the organization's office.
