State symbols of the Republic of Armenia are the flag, the anthem and the Coat of Arms.
The Anthem of the Republic of Armenia is based on the poem «The song of the Italian Girl» by Armenian poet Mikael Nalbandyan, the anthem is more famous as «Our Fatherland» according to the first line of the poem. The music was composed by Barsegh Kanachyan.
The flag of Armenia is of three colors in stripes of the same width – red, blue and orange.
