Hrachya Ghaplanyan Drama Theatre

Hrachya Ghaplanyan Drama Theater was established in 1967 by Hrachya Ghaplanyan, USSR people's Artist, laureate of many state awards, great Armenian producer. Since 1986, the artistic director of the theater has been the People's Artist of Armenia, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Armenia, performance director Armen Khandikyan.

The theater has had and still has a wide geography of tours. It has toured Russia, the United States, Georgia, Bulgaria, Poland, England, Romania, and Hungary, and has won numerous awards and prizes. The theater performances on the playlist, with more than a hundred plays staged on its stage. Twenty performances are currently on the playlist. Each year the playlist is supplemented with 2 new performances.
