''Getnatoun'' winery

Getnatoun Winery was founded in 1999 on the initiative of Aghasi Baghdasaryan and his family in the valley of the Arpa River in Vayots Dzor region. "Getnatoun" established vineyards in the lands acquired in Aghavnadzor and Vernashen villages, located at an altitude of 1400-1450 meters in the north-eastern part of the mountainous plain of Vayots Dzor region, known for its favorable male climatic conditions. Areni and white Voskehat grapes are now grown in their own gardens, and the wines made from them have a special taste and aroma.

Own vineyards, state-of-the-art European equipment, traditional technology, introduction of quality food production and management systems, dedicated staff work, constant production of high quality products and laboratory supervision enabled this plant to gain the trust of local and foreign consumers in a short time.

The factory now produces seven types of red and white, aged and young natural wines with more than 10 names, stored in new barrels made of oak wood. The company has won numerous awards and prizes in various competitions.
