Fridtjof Nansen is a Norwegian explorer, oceanographer, statesman, and humanitarian who led a number of expeditions to the Arctic and oceanographic expeditions in the North Atlantic. In the museum of the Norwegian polar explorer and Nobel Peace Prize winner, a great friend of the Armenian people, humanist, you can find the information about his life and scientific books from different activities, films, posters and sculptures. At the entrance of the museum there is a statue of Fridtjof Nansen. For his relief work after World War I he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace (1922).
