Equestrian Sport Center After Hovik Hayrapetyan
The Equestrian sport center named Hovik Hayrapetyan is the largest equestrian center and hippodrome in Armenia. The center was opened in 2001.
It is located in Shengavit community of Yerevan and occupies an area of about 85 hectares. Equestrian sports in Armenia began in 1953.
Currently, this sport is run by the Armenian Equestrian Federation and continues to expand its circle of sport’s fans. The federation cooperate with the International Federation of Equestrian sport.
The equestrian center consists of an 1800-meter-long equestrian track, as well as outdoor and indoor arenas designed for international equestrian competitions.
The Equestrian sport center named after H. Hayrapetyan organizes individual and group horseback riding lessons for both adults and children.
